Some of the outstanding features include the elimination of cut powder and the reduction of jerky action and drum binding over other measure designs. The Micrometer adjuster reads directly in cubic centimeters and the O-Ring positively locks the adjustment and removes any end play. The Perfect Powder Measure throws charges from 2 grains to over 100 grains. To change out powder all a reloader has to do is rotate the hopper 1/4 turn to shut off powder flow and lift off the hopper. The Perfect Powder Measure also has an integral powder baffle and comes with a tapered drop tube to prevent powder bridging.

For more versatility all a reloader has to do is add the Lee Universal Charging Die and the Perfect Powder Measure can be adapted to allow the case to operate measure. The case enters the charging die and the powder measure is actuated dropping a powder charge. Once the ram is fully lowered the measure is positively reset for the next powder charge.

This powder measure is a great value with excellent features. This powder measure features a high pressure die cast diamond-machined body. The precision-machined rotor drum is cast from brass, which is naturally antistatic and spark proof. A soft elastomer wiper strikes off the metering chamber rather than cut the powder. You’ll be surprised at how smoothly the rotor operates. More importantly, you will enjoy the most uniform of charges. Powder charge adjustment is accomplished with a true micrometer adjustable metering chamber. The metering chamber is aluminum with a black anodized finish. Features a crisp, permanent, laser engraved scale. The brass micrometer thimble is engraved with .01cc graduations and has a releasable detent lock. With most rifle powders each click is about a 1/10 of a grain, perfect for working up a load. The Area 419 Billet Chargemaster Powder Cup system system includes a replacement load cell tray turned from 6061-T6 aluminum, as well as the long handled cup as well.  This pan was designed to sit much lower on the scale so the cup could be as tall as possible without interfering with the spout.  The tray/cup have a tapered interface so that the cup always sits in the exact same location.  The bottom of the cup is also dished so that if you get one or two kernels of powder on the tray, it wont affect how the cup sits.

The Area 419 Cup is roughly 2″ in diameter and 1″ tall. The handle sticks out about 3″.  Weight is roughly 700 grains for the cup, this does not reduce the capacity of the scale though, as you can still put 1500 grains in it; if it would fit, you can physically fit around 400 grains of Retumbo in it for reference.

The RCBS Quick Change Powder Measure offers reloaders the ability to quickly go from light handgun to magnum rifle charges. The metering assemblies are easily changed with the pull of a pin and additional metering assemblies can be purchased and set to favorite powder charges for quick changes without resetting. The large powder hopper holds up to a pound of smokeless powder. The measure comes with both large and small metering assemblies, as well as a drain attachment and 2 drop tubes.
