• Quality Cartridge Brass 8mm-06 Springfield Box of 20

Quality Cartridge Brass 8mm-06 Springfield Box of 20

Quality Cartridge started in 1990 manufacturing custom, obsolete and wildcat cartridge cases. Quality Cartridge uses the highest quality materials and equipment to produce the best brass available. Along with the high quality of their products Quality Cartridge also properly head stamps over 450 different calibers from popular wildcats to obsolete cartridges. It is easy to see why Quality Cartridge has become the go-to source for obscure cartridge needs.

Because of variations in case size for some specialty cartridges, it is best to check the brass against a fired case from a particular firearm to ensure suitability. Whenever possible, brass has been formed to published standards for the cartridge. This is not loaded ammunition.

Brass Preparation: With bulk rifle brass you may sometimes notice a few case mouths are “out of round” or slightly dented below the shoulder.  These imperfections occur in the final tumbling wash operation after the case mouth has been annealed.  Brass manufacturers are aware of the case cosmetics and have worked to mitigate it, but due to equipment design, denting may still occur.  Minor dents are normally removed in the first firing and will not affect case life or performance.  On non-plated brass, you may also notice all the anneal stain might not be polished off, which may give the case neck a pinkish color.  With some smaller caliber cases you may notice the case mouths to be slightly belled.

With all new rifle brass, you should first straighten out the case and case mouth, then chamfer and debur the case mouth inside and out.  To straighten the case mouth, run the case part way into the sizer die and let the expander ball straighten the brass.  To prevent the case neck from stretching, be sure to lubricate the case neck inside the case mouth.

This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

The development of the Lehigh Controlled Chaos technology was the result of an animal control agency’s request for a no lead .243 bullet that would provide extensive wound trauma with little minimal pass through energy. Basically the idea was to burst the bullet into numerous particles at a predetermined depth creating many wounds and a large temporary cavity with shot placement at or near the central nervous system. The agency had tried copper matrix frangible rounds and found the penetration depth and particle size were less than what was require for proper terminal performance. The bullet is designed to penetrate to a specific depth and to fracture as the internal hydraulic pressure exceeds the hoop strength of the nose design. At the time of fracture, a massive energy spike is released as the particles break away and radiate outward from the initial trajectory path. This energy spike and resulting temporary cavity sends a shock wave through the animal’s circulatory and nervous systems immediately shutting down the functioning of these systems. The Controlled Chaos technology differs from the Controlled Fracturing technology in that the fracturing particles are smaller, the penetration depth of the smaller particles is less, and the initial energy transfer is greater. These features make this an excellent bullet choice for varmint hunting, animal culling, fur hunting, and personal defense.

Suppressor Safe— The projectile is machined from solid bar stock. Expansion only occurs upon impact through hydraulic energy. (They only expand when they hit “wet.”) This is not a frangible bullet produced from powdered metal.

  • Hornady Superformance Varmint Ammunition 22-250 Remington 35 Grain NTX Lead-Free Box of 20

Hornady Superformance Varmint Ammunition 22-250 Remington 35 Grain NTX Lead-Free Box of 20

Superformance Varmint ammunition is filled with proprietary propellants that increase the velocity ratings 100 to 200 feet per second compared to other popular brands. Because there is no increase in pressure, regardless of the caliber, there is no increase in felt recoil but there IS an increase in efficiency and high speed performance. Plus, Superformance Varmint loads are versatile and will perform flawlessly in all rifles, including semi-autos.

This Varmint load features Hornady Non-Toxic Expanding (NTX) projectile. Designed around the hard-hitting performance of the famous Hornady V-Max bullet, the NTX is specifically designed for supremely accurate long-range shooting for customers who aren’t permitted to shoot lead bullets in their home states. NTX bullets from Hornady deliver the same accuracy and performance as their popular V-Max bullets. The lead-free core, made of proprietary metals, is formed through a unique compression process at Hornady’s bullet lab.

Kent Cartridge Gamebore Game and Hunting Ammunition 410 Bore 2-1/2″ 3/8 oz #7 Shot Box of 25

Beginning in 1996 as a small group of sportsmen discussing the future of shotgunning, Kent Cartridge is now an international cartridge company. In 1997, Kent purchased the Activ Cartridge factory in Kearneysville, West Virginia. This gave Kent a home base in the heart of wild and wonderful West Virginia. In 1998 Kent expanded to Europe with the acquisition of the Gamebore Cartridge Company in Hull, England. The Kent-Gamebore Corporation was then formed and now carries on business throughout North America and around the world. The goal was simple, develop a non-toxic shotshell that would equal, and possibly exceed, the performance of high quality lead waterfowl loads. Constantly evolving and leading with proven performance and innovation, Kent products continue to set the benchmark.

Consistent patterning, balanced shot string, less recoil, superior penetration and retained energy. It all adds up to how your day ends. The discerning shooter knows that not just any off-the-shelf cartridge is acceptable for their cherished fine-grade shotgun.  The purist and traditional shooter can experience authentic paper hulls and fiber wads while enjoying the modern day performance of a Kent Gamebore shotshell. Gamebore Game and Hunting is a traditional load designed for modern and old english guns.

Winchester Xtended RangeTM Bismuth pairs ShotLok Technology with bismuth shot, resulting in optimum performance for turkey, waterfowl and upland hunting in areas that require lead-free shot. With density greater than steel, bismuth shot offers improved penetration that nears that of standard lead loads. ShotLok Technology is used to protect the bismuth shot from fracturing, which improves pattern density and increases downrange energy, when compared to standard lead loads. Xtended Range Bismuth puts twice the number of pellets in a 20-inch circle at 60 yards.
