This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

Owner of Buffalo Bore Tim Sundles on Heavy 10mm Ammunition:

The Buffalo Bore Heavy 10 mm ammo is the result of many years of customers requests that we produce several such loads for the 10 mm.

These loads bring out the full potential of the 10mm, but operate at standard pressures and as such, are safe to use in any standard 10mm pistol.

We are using flash-suppressed powders so your vision will not be materially affected should you be required to drop the hammer in low light.

If you are firing this 10mm ammo from an autoloader and experience high extreme spreads in velocity, it is not the ammo. Here is why and how to remedy the situation.

Full power 10mm ammo has always generated enough recoil and pressure to require a pretty stiff recoil spring in your handgun – this of course depends on several variables such as your slide weight, etc. When the cartridge fires, it generates enough pressure/recoil to prematurely open your breech face in some guns. When this happens, the opening breech face has an effect on the burn rate of the powder. This can result in some fairly high extreme spreads in velocity. If you are experiencing extreme velocity spreads of more than 50 fps, simply install a stiffer recoil spring. For example, I have an original Colt Delta Elite. This gun with the factory spring runs extreme spreads of about 35fps with both of these 10mm loads. I am happy with 35 fps, so I leave the Delta Elite as is. I also have a custom built Para Ordinance with a Nowlin barrel. It runs extreme spreads of about 70 fps with its original recoil spring. When I install a spring that is 4 lbs stiffer, the extreme spread drops to about 35 fps. The new Glock model 20 comes with a recoil spring that allows the breech face to open too soon and my new Glock model 20 will get extreme spreads of about 100fps with the factory spring installed. When I go to a stiffer recoil spring, the extreme spreads drop to about 50 fps in my new Glock model 20. Of course none of this will be an issue in a revolver. None of this will be an issue in real life either, as these high extreme spreads don’t hurt accuracy or function. However, I mention this because if you are like me and want things to be as correct as possible, I have outlined the problem and the solution. The industry fixed all these problems initially, by watering down the 10mm ammo over the last several years. The watered down 10mm ammo does not generate the pressure/recoil to open the breech face early. If you want the full powered 10mm ammo we make, you simply need to tweak your pistol. Or just realize that you are getting some fairly high extreme spreads and ignore it or live with it. It’s not hurting any thing in reality.

For years customers have asked for full power 30 M1 Carbine loads. Buffalo Bore calls these loads “Full Power+” instead of +P, because they are not technically +P as they are all within the SAAMI max. average pressure of 40,000 CUP, but they are much more powerful than ordinary run-of-the mill M1 Carbine ammo. ANY/ALL M1 chambered carbines that are in normal operating condition will safely fire these loads, as they are operating within SAAMI specs. Buffalo Bore Ammunition 30-06 Springfield 168 Grain Barnes Tipped Triple-Shock X Bullet Boat Tail Lead-Free Box of 20

Buffalo Bore Super Charged ammunition is loaded to be some of the most powerful and highest quality ammunition available in . Buffalo Bore Premium Super Charged ammunitions is considered safe to use in any 30-06 Springfield chambered rifle that is in normal operating condition. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

Owner of Buffalo Bore Tim Sundles on 30-06 Super Charged Ammunition:

This Super Charged 30-06 load is designed to kill any big game from antelope through AK/Yukon moose or bison. The 168gr. Barnes TTSX bullet expands and then penetrates as deeply as most 200gr. premium partition style bullets, while giving the high velocity, flat trajectory and low recoil of the much lighter 168gr. bullet. For folks who are hunting any big game in North America, this is the ?do all? 30-06 load. We make a 30-06 load that is better suited for small big game like deer and antelope, but there is no 30-06 load in the world that is better suited for all NA game and especially very large game like AK/Yukon moose or bison, than this (Item 40B) load.

Note our real world velocities, shot from real world rifles. We do not use extra long laboratory test barrels that give false high velocity readings.

Buffalo Bore loads their ammunition up to maximum SAAMI specifications, which delivers devastating performance on a wide range of game. Please note that this ammunition is not intended for older guns. It is made for modern firearms only, as some of the ammunition could damage older and weaker firearms. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

Owner of Buffalo Bore Tim Sundles on Buffalo Bore Heavy 30-30 Winchester Ammunition:

Buffalo Bore is introducing a truly Heavy 30-30 Winchester loading. This new load utilizes a 190gr. custom Hawk bullet and gives the venerable 30-30 here-to-for unrealized power and is designed so that the person who owns a 30-30 can now reliably kill elk or moose sized game. The 30-30 can now be carried as a defensive tool in grizzly country and will be much more effective in stopping a grizzly attack than any other 30-30 ammunition in the world. The custom 190gr. hawk bullet is designed with a harder core and thicker than normal jacket, so the expansion is minimal, thus insuring very deep penetration which is needed to break large bones and destroy organs deep inside large game animals. This load generates an unreal 2100 fps from normal 20 inch carbines this is the type of velocity that the ordinary 170gr. 30-30 loads generate, but again, we are using a 190gr. bullet. Check the below real world velocities from my personal stock, over-the-counter firearms truly amazing.

    • 2071 fps — Marlin Model 336 20 inch saddle ring carbine circa 1950’s
    • 2061 fps — Win. Model 94 20 inch carbine circa 1980’s
    • 2075 fps — Win. Model 94 20 inch carbine circa 1953
    • 2116 fps — Win. Model 94 20 inch carbine circa 1963
    • 2172 fps — Marlin model 336A 24 inch carbine circa 1940’s
    • 2146 fps — Win. Model 94 20 inch carbine circa 1980’s
    • 2020 fps — Win. Model 94AE 16 inch Trapper carbine circa 1992
    • 1983 fps — Savage 99 26 inch rifle circa 1917 – Not a Typo

Note that the longest barrel gave the slowest velocity and even the short 16 inch Winchester trapper model gives faster speeds than the 26 inch Savage 99 rifle, which shows that barrel length is not always the sole indicator of velocities a firearm will generate.
Buffalo Bore always uses stock over-the-counter- firearms that give real world velocities. Other ammunition companies normally use laboratory test barrels which give much higher velocities than stock firearms. We at Buffalo Bore see this long established practice as misleading to the consumer

Owner of Buffalo Bore Tim Sundles on 32 ACP +P Ammunition:

This 32 ACP+P ammo will better all American made 32 ACP+P ammo by 110 fps to 150 fps with a heavier bullet than any other American made 32 ACP ammo.
Item 30A/20 is a 75gr. HARD cast bullet with a flat nose. It is traveling over 1,000 fps out of my 3.4 inch Beretta Mod. 70. We’ve used a flash suppressed powder so that you won’t be blinded by your own gunfire in the dark. This is significant as well over 90% of all civilian shootings in America occur in low light when the criminal element is out and about. Also, this flat nosed, nonexpanding, hard cast, bullet will penetrate deeply and will do much more damage than the typical round nosed FMJ bullet. Round nosed bullets tend to slip and slide through living tissue, doing little damage as opposed to a flat nosed bullet. The flat nose not only wounds much more than a round nosed bullet, but it actually keeps the penetration straight and thus deeper. Notice the below velocities from my personal 32 ACP pistols. These are real world guns and thus the speeds are realistic and not the exaggerated speeds you’ll see produced from laboratory test barrels. What you see with Buffalo Bore Ammo advertising, is truly what you get in the “real world” where it matters. You can expect 20+ inches of straight line penetration.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE HEADSTAMP ON THIS BRASS: Due to limited supplies of brass, Buffalo Bore has begun loading +P and +P+ ammunition in brass that may not be indicated as such on the headstamp. Example: 9mm Luger +P+ ammunition may be designated as 9mm Luger +P or simply 9mm Luger on the headstamp.

Buffalo Bore Premium Heavy ammunitions is considered safe to use in any newer 32 H&R or 327 Federal chambered firearm that is in normal operating condition. DO NOT use in older 32 H&R revolvers. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

Owner of Buffalo Bore Tim Sundles on Buffalo Bore Heavy 32 H&R +P Ammunition:

Due to customer request Buffalo Bore is producing some new 32 H&R Mag. +P loads. Item # 36A is a 100gr. JHP at some very potent velocities. Below are real world velocities shot from stock over-the-counter, revolvers.

    • 1366 fps – USFA Sparrow Hawk 7.5 inch barrel
    • 1340 fps – Ruger Black Hawk 5.5 inch barrel
    • 1187 fps – Ruger SP101 3 inch barrel
    • 1054 fps – Taurus Ultra Light 2 inch barrel

This ammunition is full powered 32 H&R mag. and is safe to use in all firearms chambered for 32 H&R mag. and 327 Federal Mag., EXCEPT the original H&R revolvers, that as of this date, (04-21-11) have long been out of production. This ammunition performed flawlessly out of all the above test guns, except that we had to polish the tool marks out of the Taurus chambers to have smooth extraction of fired cases. None of the other test guns had extreme tool marks in the chambers. This ammunition utilizes flash suppressed powders so as to not blind the shooter in low light situations. Because of the increased velocity of this load over the standard 32 H&R loads, it is powerful enough to have defense applications, but is mostly a small game and utility/plinking load.
