Underwood Ammunition 45 Super 185 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point Box of 20
While taking advantage of state of the art testing equipment, this high performance ammunition by Underwood is field tested using popular, real firearms that customers are most likely to own out in the real world with all the elements you would experience. If for some reason Underwood Ammunition fails to meet performance expectations, Underwood stands by their product 100% and will make sure the customer is satisfied with every purchase. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable nickel plated brass cases.
Whether shooting steel targets or hunting for a hog, Nosler’s Sporting Handgun bullets will perform exceptional in both situations. Designed with a tapered copper alloy jacket and form fitted lead core, these bullets were built for extreme accuracy and reliable expansion at broad ranges. Each bullet is hand-inspected and burnished to a bright finish. All of Underwood Ammo rounds utilize flash suppressed powder so that your vision will not be compromised if it becomes necessary to use your firearm in low light.
The Underwood nickel plating process provides several key benefits including; improved feeding in all actions of firearms, enhanced corrosion resistance over traditional brass, improved cosmetics, and ease of cleanup during reloading. Nickel plated casings will not tarnish like brass during storage or when in contact with foreign materials such as leather, moisture, and other metals. Until the development of the Ducta-Bright 7a process, nickel plating casings often limited the number of reloads as compared to raw brass. It was claimed that nickel plated brass casings embrittled the brass therefor making it less desirable for reloaders despite the ease of cleanup that nickel plating offers. In addition, ammunition engineers raising concerns of using nickel plating in very hot +P or magnum loads found that traditional nickel plating often cracked deep-drawn cases, or worse, lead to a total failure. This new process eliminates any concern, to the shooter or reloader, of hazard or ability to re-use the brass.

This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.
Hard cast flat nose bullets are non-expanding, powerfully penetrative bullets that are designed with your woods defense needs in mind; whether fending off wild hogs or black bears, the hard cast flat nose bullets are consistently effective in taking down any wild animals that you may encounter. In contrast to the round nose non-expanding bullets, the flat nose bullets are able to pierce through dense bodies of mass while maintaining their nose forward position, which is optimal for maximum penetration. All non-jacketed lead bullets, whether it may be cast, hard cast, wad-cutter, etc. “smoke” to some degree due to the wax/lube needed in the manufacturing process. With high performance and velocity it is nearly impossible to stop this from happening. Higher chamber pressures, higher velocities, and higher temperatures mean more smoke in this case. All of Underwood Ammo rounds utilize flash suppressed powder so that your vision will not be compromised if it becomes necessary to use your firearm in low light.

Buffalo Bore Ammunition 32 H&R Magnum +P 100 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point Box of 20
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE HEADSTAMP ON THIS BRASS: Due to limited supplies of brass, Buffalo Bore has begun loading +P and +P+ ammunition in brass that may not be indicated as such on the headstamp. Example: 9mm Luger +P+ ammunition may be designated as 9mm Luger +P or simply 9mm Luger on the headstamp.
Buffalo Bore Heavy ammunition is loaded to be some of the most powerful and highest quality ammunition available in . Buffalo Bore Premium Heavy ammunitions is considered safe to use in any newer 32 H&R or 327 Federal chambered firearm that is in normal operating condition. DO NOT use in older 32 H&R revolvers. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.
Owner of Buffalo Bore Tim Sundles on Buffalo Bore Heavy 32 H&R +P Ammunition:
Due to customer request Buffalo Bore is producing some new 32 H&R Mag. +P loads. Item # 36A is a 100gr. JHP at some very potent velocities. Below are real world velocities shot from stock over-the-counter, revolvers.
- 1366 fps – USFA Sparrow Hawk 7.5 inch barrel
- 1340 fps – Ruger Black Hawk 5.5 inch barrel
- 1187 fps – Ruger SP101 3 inch barrel
- 1054 fps – Taurus Ultra Light 2 inch barrel
This ammunition is full powered 32 H&R mag. and is safe to use in all firearms chambered for 32 H&R mag. and 327 Federal Mag., EXCEPT the original H&R revolvers, that as of this date, (04-21-11) have long been out of production. This ammunition performed flawlessly out of all the above test guns, except that we had to polish the tool marks out of the Taurus chambers to have smooth extraction of fired cases. None of the other test guns had extreme tool marks in the chambers. This ammunition utilizes flash suppressed powders so as to not blind the shooter in low light situations. Because of the increased velocity of this load over the standard 32 H&R loads, it is powerful enough to have defense applications, but is mostly a small game and utility/plinking load.

Owner of Buffalo Bore Tim Sundles on Buffalo Bore Heavy 32 H&R +P Ammunition:
This 32 H&R +P load is designed for those who need a very deep penetrating hard cast heavy load. This load should penetrate about three feet into flesh and bone. The bullet is 21-22 BHN and is properly lubed and will not substantially lead foul barrels.
We are using a flash retarded powder so that the shooter will not be blinded by his/her own gunfire in low light situations.
See our below velocities fired from real world, over-the-counter revolvers. We do not use long laboratory barrels to establish our published velocities as this will produce unrealistically fast velocities and will not tell the customer what his/her gun is producing in the real world where it matters.
- 1.1164 fps – USFA Sparrow Hawk 7.5 inch
- 2.1139 fps – Ruger Black Hawk 5.5 inch
- 3.1133 fps – Ruger SP101 3 inch

Notice From Hornady: Temporary suspension of nickel plated cartridge cases for Critical Defense® Handgun Ammunition 5/25/21
Unfortunately, everyone is faced with production bottlenecks and supply chains are stressed. In particular, the freight system is delayed longer than normal. Our current turnaround time on nickel plating cartridge cases is 4+ weeks. This delay has created a significant bottleneck in the production of ammunition.
Due to these issues, we will suspend nickel plating on all Critical Defense handgun ammunition to help reduce production time.
Please note, this is a temporary suspension. We will review in six months and plan to resume nickel plating when things return to normal.

Underwood Ammunition 460 Rowland 200 Grain Lehigh Xtreme Penetrator Lead-Free Box of 20
While taking advantage of state of the art testing equipment, this high performance ammunition by Underwood is field tested using popular, real firearms that customers are most likely to own out in the real world with all the elements you would experience. If for some reason Underwood Ammunition fails to meet performance expectations, Underwood stands by their product 100% and will make sure the customer is satisfied with every purchase. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.
The Lehigh Xtreme Penetrator bullet features progressive nose geometry, which allows for deep, straight penetration while creating a permanent wound cavity diameter exceeding that of most expanding bullets. To top it off, the bullet is solid copper and is able to overcome barriers to penetration; environmentally friendly, target unfriendly, very unfriendly, downright obnoxiously unfriendly. The magic happens with the nose design where the radial flutes force the hydraulic energy inward and then as the energy is restricted, it accelerates outward creating high pressure spikes damaging surrounding tissue. Kind of similar to sticking your thumb over a garden hose. The permanent wound cavity of the XP is from two to four times greater than what a flat or ball nose bullet generates and often larger than traditional expanding bullets. So what you get is exceptional penetration coupled with a larger permanent wound cavity. The solid copper alloy construction will not deform when contacting hard surfaces like a lead jacketed bullet will do nor will it fragment as some hard cast lead bullets are prone to do. What it will do is overcome surface barriers and penetrate straight and deep while creating a massive wound channel.
Suppressor Safe— The projectile is machined from solid bar stock. This is not a frangible bullet produced from powdered metal.
Features
- Progressive nose geometry for deep, straight penetration
- CNC machined from solid copper to overcome barriers to penetration
- Radial flutes that force the hydraulic energy inward to build pressure
- A permanent wound cavity that is 2 to 4 times greater than flat or ball nose bullets

Buffalo Bore Ammunition 460 Rowland 230 Grain Full Metal Jacket Flat Nose Box of 20
Buffalo Bore 460 Rowland ammunition is loaded with the highest quality components to produce great accuracy and performance. Buffalo Bore began to offer this load at the ever growing request of numerous customers. With performance like this it is easy to see why the 460 Rowland is quickly growing in popularity. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.
Owner of Buffalo Bore Tim Sundles on 460 Rowland Ammunition:
The 460 Rowland, as we load it, is squarely at mid-44 magnum power levels. This means that a person can now carry a 1911 style combat pistol that has the power of a 44 mag. revolver, but is slimmer, faster to reload, faster to shoot and holds nine rounds instead of a revolver’s six. The 460 Rowland casing is simply a 45 ACP case that has been slightly lengthened so it won’t chamber in a 45 ACP chamber. It also has a stronger web area in the casing, so as to avoid “blow outs”.
To acquire 460 Rowland test guns, I sent two of my 1911 45 acp pistols to Clark Custom Guns and had them install their 460 Rowland conversion kits. To date the converted 1911’s work great. I can fire a 255gr. hard cast bullet @ 1300 fps or a 230gr. FMJ-FN bullet @ 1350 fps. What a great “woods” pistol that still maintains combat pistol qualities.
We are using flash suppressed powders in each 460 Rowland load, so that if you have to shoot in the dark, the muzzle flash will not blind the shooter and we feel this feature is a big tactical advantage.Note my real world velocities (below) from real world pistols, not laboratory test barrels.
