  • Top Brass Premium Reconditioned Once Fired Brass 50 BMG

Top Brass Premium Reconditioned Once Fired Brass 50 BMG

Top Brass specializes in purchasing once-fired military brass from the Department of Defense and performing every step necessary to bring it back to ideal reloading condition. Stringent inspection processes at every step ensures the tightest tolerances and most consistent product possible with once-fired brass, no matter the caliber. The thorough visual inspection process prior to packaging helps to make sure you get only the highest quality product so you can buy with confidence. This is 100% fully processed & reconditioned Brass. This is not loaded ammunition.

Brass Preparation: With bulk rifle brass you may sometimes notice a few case mouths are “out of round” or slightly dented below the shoulder.  These imperfections occur in the final tumbling wash operation after the case mouth has been annealed.  Brass manufacturers are aware of the case cosmetics and have worked to mitigate it, but due to equipment design, denting may still occur.  Minor dents are normally removed in the first firing and will not affect case life or performance.  On non-plated brass, you may also notice all the anneal stain might not be polished off, which may give the case neck a pinkish color.  With some smaller caliber cases you may notice the case mouths to be slightly belled.

With all new rifle brass, you should first straighten out the case and case mouth, then chamfer and debur the case mouth inside and out.  To straighten the case mouth, run the case part way into the sizer die and let the expander ball straighten the brass.  To prevent the case neck from stretching, be sure to lubricate the case neck inside the case mouth.

  • Forster Bench Rest Powder Measure

    Forster Bench Rest Powder Measure

    Product Overview

The Forster Bench Rest Powder Measure keeps your powder flowing evenly. Its long, narrow, powder-charge reservoir minimizes the amount of powder shearing for each and every charge.

The charge arm meters the powder and dispenses a flow of consistent charges using your choice of gun powder. For example, it will measure from 2½ grains of Bullseye to 95 grains of IMR 4320 or Alliant Reloder 15.

The powder hopper is designed to eliminate variation in charges due to changes in the volume of powder contained in the hopper. The small outlet on the hopper serves as a built-in baffle, regulating the powder leaving the hopper and entering the measure in a uniform manner. The Powder Measure comes with two large drop tubes for large and small capacity cases. The integral C-clamp fastens securely to a bench or shelf. An optional Stand is sold separately. With the superior design of the Forster Bench Rest Powder Measure you are able to achieve repeatability within 1/10th of one grain, along with throwing a charge every 4 seconds.

  • RCBS Competition Powder Measure with Small Metering Drum

RCBS Competition Powder Measure with Small Metering Drum

    Product Overview

The RCBS Competition Powder Measure is an accurate powder measure that is designed to throw consistent repeatable charges time after time. The Competition Powder measure takes the best features of the proven RCBS Uniflow Powder Measure and adds a powder baffle and advanced Uniflow Micrometer Adjustment Screw. The addition of the powder baffle ensures that the powder flow and pressure on the powder column over the metering unit stay consistent while the Micrometer Adjustment Screw gives the reloader the ability to precisely adjust to their desired metered charge, as well as allowing them to record that number for future reference for quicker setup time.

Metering Chamber: Small metering assembly designed for handgun and small rifle cartridges such as the 223 Remington and 300 AAC Blackout
    Features:

    • Measuring cylinder has precision ground surfaces and slides into the honed main casting for a precision fit.
    • Measures ball, flake and extruded smokeless powder

    Notes:

    • The Competition measure is based on the Uniflow and has the same metering drum and main casting
    • Handle can be placed on the right or left
    • Index numbers on adjustment screw do not show actual powder charge. Charges should be set by using a powder scale and periodically checked for accuracy.

  • Shooters World Clean Shot D032-03 Smokeless Gun Powder

Shooters World Clean Shot D032-03 Smokeless Gun Powder

    Product Overview

This propellant is a bulk form of Lovex D032 reloading propellant. Ballistic results for this propellant show it to be highly versatile, with low residue in a myriad of pistol cartridges. It has similar burn rate to Accurate No. 2. This propellant can be used in virtually all pistol cartridges. A spherical propellant, it meters through charge plates consistently and will feed with a high-speed loader with excellent flow. Loaders who desire to use this propellant in cartridges requiring a slow gas generation rate (9mm and .380 Auto and magnums for example) should understand that this propellant is optimized for .45 Auto and .38 SPL. Therefore, while this propellant will enable loaders to use one propellant for virtually all pistol calibers, this propellant will not achieve high velocities in 9mm, .380 Auto or magnum cartridges. This propellant has also been initially evaluated in a 12 gauge, 1-ounce load. Judging by its results, it could perform in both a 1-ounce and 1-1/8 oz Handicap load.
