Underwood Match Grade Ammunition 6.5 Creedmoor 122 Grain Lehigh Controlled Chaos Lead-Free Box of 20
Underwood Match Grade ammunition is personally hand crafted by Underwood Ballsiticians in small batches and is truly rival to some of the world’s best handloads. Case mouths are deburred, chamfered, and checked before loading. Flash holes are deburred and checked. Powder charges are hand thrown to deliver consistency and accuracy with each shot. Built to the tightest tolerances for peak performance rivaling and sometimes surpassing handloads in many guns. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.
The Lehigh Controlled Chaos bullet is designed to penetrate to a specific depth and to fracture as the internal hydraulic pressure exceeds the hoop strength of the nose design. At the time of fracture, a massive energy spike is released as the particles break away and radiate outward from the initial trajectory path. This energy spike and resulting temporary cavity sends a shock wave through the animal’s circulatory and nervous systems immediately shutting down the functioning of these systems.
Features
- Cases checked for weight variances and a likeness
- Necks and shoulders checked for perfect chamberings
- Brass is cut to exact SAAMI specifications
- Overall length double checked to ensure lands/bullet marriage

Lehigh Defense CC Ammunition 223 Remington 62 Grain Controlled Chaos Lead Free Box of 20
Lehigh Defense CC Ammunition features the proven Controlled Chaos bullets. This high quality ammunition is perfect for hunting or pest control. The lead free projectiles are safe to use in any environment with no risk of lead contamination. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases.
The development of the Controlled Chaos technology was the result of an animal control agency’s request for a no lead .243 bullet that would provide extensive wound trauma with little minimal pass through energy. Basically the idea was to burst the bullet into numerous particles at a predetermined depth creating many wounds and a large temporary cavity with shot placement at or near the central nervous system. The agency had tried copper matrix frangible rounds and found the penetration depth and particle size were less than what was require for proper terminal performance.
The bullet is designed to penetrate to a specific depth and to fracture as the internal hydraulic pressure exceeds the hoop strength of the nose design. At the time of fracture, a massive energy spike is released as the particles break away and radiate outward from the initial trajectory path. This energy spike and resulting temporary cavity sends a shock wave through the animal’s circulatory and nervous systems immediately shutting down the functioning of these systems.
The Controlled Chaos technology differs from the Controlled Fracturing technology in that the fracturing particles are smaller, the penetration depth of the smaller particles is less, and the initial energy transfer is greater. These features make this an excellent bullet choice for varmint hunting, animal culling, fur hunting, and personal defense.
Suppressor Safe — The projectile is machined from solid bar stock. Expansion only occurs upon impact through hydraulic energy. (They only expand when they hit “wet.”) This is not a frangible bullet produced from powdered metal.
Features
- Many wound channels resulting in extensive damage
- CNC machined from solid copper or brass, not formed or swaged
- Exceptional accuracy from the advanced manufacturing process
- A separate base for penetration along the original trajectory
- No lead designs for agencies requiring green projectiles

Starline Brass 223 Remington
Starline Brass prides itself on producing the highest quality brass case available. Their brass is comprised of 70% copper and 30% zinc and is vertically drawn during the manufacturing process which results in more uniform wall thickness. Cases are annealed between each draw to ensure consistent metallurgy in all lots. Each brass case is hand inspected to guarantee the highest quality possible.
Starline Brass is located in Sedalia, MO and has been in business for over 30 years. Trust Starline for your next reloads, you won’t be disappointed. New, unprimed brass. This is not loaded ammunition. Bulk brass should be full-length sized, trimmed and chamfered before loading.
Brass Preparation: With bulk rifle brass you may sometimes notice a few case mouths are “out of round” or slightly dented below the shoulder. These imperfections occur in the final tumbling wash operation after the case mouth has been annealed. Brass manufacturers are aware of the case cosmetics and have worked to mitigate it, but due to equipment design, denting may still occur. Minor dents are normally removed in the first firing and will not affect case life or performance. On non-plated brass, you may also notice all the anneal stain might not be polished off, which may give the case neck a pinkish color. With some smaller caliber cases you may notice the case mouths to be slightly belled.
With all new rifle brass, you should first straighten out the case and case mouth, then chamfer and debur the case mouth inside and out. To straighten the case mouth, run the case part way into the sizer die and let the expander ball straighten the brass. To prevent the case neck from stretching, be sure to lubricate the case neck inside the case mouth.
If you are using Nickel plated brass, special care must be taken to lubricate the cases prior to sizing them. Nickel plating is harder than brass and the cases require more effort in sizing. In the event a case becomes stuck, purchase a stuck case remover; don’t use pliers, screwdrivers or other common household tools which could damage your sizing die.

Underwood Ammunition 9x18mm (9mm Makarov) 95 Grain Lehigh Xtreme Penetrator Lead-Free Box of 20
While taking advantage of state of the art testing equipment, this high performance ammunition by Underwood is field tested using popular, real firearms that customers are most likely to own out in the real world with all the elements you would experience. If for some reason Underwood Ammunition fails to meet performance expectations, Underwood stands by their product 100% and will make sure the customer is satisfied with every purchase. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.
The Underwood nickel plating process provides several key benefits including; improved feeding in all actions of firearms, enhanced corrosion resistance over traditional brass, improved cosmetics, and ease of cleanup during reloading. Nickel plated casings will not tarnish like brass during storage or when in contact with foreign materials such as leather, moisture, and other metals. Until the development of the Ducta-Bright 7a process, nickel plating casings often limited the number of reloads as compared to raw brass. It was claimed that nickel plated brass casings embrittled the brass therefore making it less desirable for reloaders despite the ease of cleanup that nickel plating offers. In addition, ammunition engineers raising concerns of using nickel plating in very hot +P or magnum loads found that traditional nickel plating often cracked deep-drawn cases, or worse, lead to a total failure. This new process eliminates any concern, to the shooter or reloader, of hazard or ability to re-use the brass.
The Lehigh Xtreme Penetrator bullet features progressive nose geometry, which allows for deep, straight penetration while creating a permanent wound cavity diameter exceeding that of most expanding bullets. To top it off, the bullet is solid copper and is able to overcome barriers to penetration; environmentally friendly, target unfriendly, very unfriendly, downright obnoxiously unfriendly. The magic happens with the nose design where the radial flutes force the hydraulic energy inward and then as the energy is restricted, it accelerates outward creating high pressure spikes damaging surrounding tissue. Kind of similar to sticking your thumb over a garden hose. The permanent wound cavity of the XP is from two to four times greater than what a flat or ball nose bullet generates and often larger than traditional expanding bullets. So what you get is exceptional penetration coupled with a larger permanent wound cavity. The solid copper alloy construction will not deform when contacting hard surfaces like a lead jacketed bullet will do nor will it fragment as some hard cast lead bullets are prone to do. What it will do is overcome surface barriers and penetrate straight and deep while creating a massive wound channel.
